MEETOS VS WHOVA

Your event.
Your brand.
No app to download.

Whova and MeetOS target the same events — conferences, summits, forums. The difference: with MeetOS, your attendees never see anything but your brand. And they have nothing to download.

In all honesty

Whova is a serious platform — here's why thousands of conferences use it

Whova is a recognized player in academic and professional conference management. The platform offers a familiar, well-honed experience for organizers: structured agenda, speaker list, interest-based networking, organizer dashboard. For an international English-speaking conference where attendees are used to downloading event apps, Whova is a benchmark.

The differences

Why choose MeetOS

MeetOS is invisible

With Whova, your attendees download "the Whova app" and know they're using Whova. With MeetOS, they access your event, your brand, your URL. The platform disappears behind your identity.

Zero friction for your attendees

Asking 400 delegates to download an app before your conference adds a step that can block up to 20% of them. MeetOS opens in a browser. Link, click, access.

An open API

Whova has no publicly documented API. MeetOS exposes a GraphQL API, letting you integrate your CRM tools, your badge system or your internal workflows.

Local partner, not a distant vendor

Our team is based in Morocco. They speak your language, know your institutional contacts, and can be physically present on the day of your event.

The right choice

Who should choose what

Choose Whova if:

  • Your audience is used to event apps and accepts downloading one
  • You're running an international academic conference with an English-speaking audience
  • You don't need white-label — the Whova brand isn't a problem
  • You have no local-partner requirement or need for billing in MAD

Choose MeetOS if:

  • You want your event to be 100% under your brand (full white-label)
  • You don't want to force an app download on your attendees
  • You're running an institutional summit, a corporate forum or a B2B conference
  • You're based in Morocco or West Africa
  • You need an API to integrate your business tools

Local presence

Based in Morocco, present across West Africa

Most event platforms are built in the US or Europe: English-only support, 48-hour replies, billing in foreign currencies. MeetOS is designed and operated from Morocco. You get a direct contact, in French, in your time zone, who can be on-site the day of your event. For organizations in West Africa and the Maghreb, billing in MAD also simplifies your administrative processes.

Pricing

Pricing transparency

Whova uses quote-based pricing, estimated between $2,000 and $15,000 per event depending on size and features. Advanced features (networking, deep analytics) may be billed as add-on modules.

MeetOS: platform access at 20,000 MAD incl. tax + a sliding per-attendee rate. All features available from your first event, with no add-on modules. Direct contact for recurring events or multi-event deployments.

Your questions

Frequently asked questions

What's the main difference between MeetOS and Whova?

Both platforms target conferences and summits. The main difference is threefold: MeetOS is fully white-label (the Whova brand stays visible to your attendees), MeetOS is a web app that requires no download (Whova requires installing a mobile app), and MeetOS has a local team in Morocco and West Africa.

Is Whova white-label?

No. With Whova, your attendees download the Whova app — the Whova brand is visible on the app store, inside the app, and in communications. MeetOS is designed to be completely invisible: your logo, your URL, your colors. Your attendees never know they're using MeetOS.

Do attendees have to install the Whova app?

Yes, Whova relies on its native mobile app. This adds extra friction for your attendees — download, account creation, permissions. MeetOS is a Progressive Web App: no installation required, instant access from any browser.

Is MeetOS available in Arabic or French for MENA events?

MeetOS supports 6 languages including French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Chinese. The platform is developed in Morocco and our team is French-speaking. For events in West Africa or the Maghreb, we know the local practices and constraints.

How much does MeetOS cost compared to Whova?

Whova uses quote-based pricing, estimated between $2,000 and $15,000 per event depending on size. MeetOS charges 20,000 MAD incl. tax for platform access + a sliding per-attendee rate (150 MAD for 1–100, 100 MAD for 101–500, 70 MAD for 500+). All features are included with no add-on modules.
